Hi! My name is Corey. I am 14 years old. I am High School Student. Some of my hobbies and interests... I like to collect old US coins I also like listening to rap. I really don't like books at all and I really don't like school.

Information about my illness...

In 2000, when I was 13 years old, I was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor. I was treated at Arnold Palmer Hosipital in Orlando,Fl. I had radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.

My words to others...

My suggestions to other survivors are... Just keep your head up even through the tough times and I'm sure God will do rest.

The most important lesson I learned from my experience is... I learned to appreciate the small things in life,like walking and talking because I couldn't talk for about 7 1/2 weeks. I still can't walk without the support of something.

A positive outcome from my experience is... Just keep your head up even during the rough times and I'm sure you'll do OK.
