A little about me...

Hi! My name is Kimberly. I am 29 years old. I am a health educator and professional model. Some of my hobbies and interests... going to the movies, acting, and dancing.

Information about my illness...

In 1981, when I was 11 years old, I was diagnosed with Wilms' Tumor. I was treated at the Medical College of Virginia hospital. I had radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.

My words to others...

My suggestions to other survivors are... have faith in God.

The most important lesson I learned from my experience is... that this too shall pass.

A positive outcome from my experience is... that I became closer to my family and learned to appreciate life more.
