A little about me...

Hi! My name is Mark. I am 34 years old. I am Recruiter. Some of my hobbies and interests... are my daughters and my dogs and playing Golf.

Information about my illness...

In 1977, when I was 12 years old, I was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma. I was treated at UNC and Stanford Childrens hospital. I had radiation, chemotherapy and surgery.

My words to others...

My suggestions to other survivors are... Don't ever give up.

The most important lesson I learned from my experience is... not to believe anyone elses opinion about myself. The only person that has to be happy with myself is ME.

A positive outcome from my experience is... I was told that I had 3 months to live and that I would never have children. I am now 34 years old and I have two beautiful daughters. Don't ever give up!
