" Grow where you are. Anchor your roots underneath. Doubt your doubts and believe your beliefs."

A little about me...

Hi! My name is Jeremy. I am 18 years old. I am a senior in high school. Some of my hobbies and interests... Computers, listening to music, playing bass guitar and acoustic guitar.

Information about my illness...

In 1992, when I was 9 years old, I was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Lymphoma. I was treated at Children's Hospital of Oklahoma City. I had chemotherapy, surgery and a bone marrow transplant.

My words to others...

My suggestions to other survivors are... to pray and keep your head in the Word. At times it may seem that all around has fallen, but there's something about talking to God that brings a peace.

The most important lesson I learned from my experience is... you are strong when you feel weak.

A positive outcome from my experience is... It is a great witnessing tool for Christ, and has strengthened my relationship with Him. You can email me at [email protected].

" When the doctor first came into the waiting room after examining my tumor, he told me that there was a chance of me not surviving. Being only 9 years old, I said, 'No. I can't die. There are too many people praying for me'. "
